"altered turns with embellishments"

Stefano Fava is well-known to Londoners through his tango school Tango In Action, run jointly with Alexandra Wood.  Gisela Vidal, from Buenos Aires, started dancing tango when 14 years old.  Her web site shows an impressive career for someone so young.

About the class title:  an altered turn is one in which the follower turns around the leader with a different structure from the forward-side-back-side pattern.
